Raven Hood
A legacy forged in blood. A name that refuses to die.
The Story
England bleeds beneath a tyrant's crown. Villages burn for even a whisper of defiance. The men who rule do so by fire, fear and the edge of a blade.
Into this merciless age come Raven and Roman Hood, two brothers struggling to forge identities for themselves under the weight of their legendary family name. Yet the past is never truly buried – and some names refuse to stay silent.
Drawn into deadly games, the brothers must test their courage, loyalty and skill against forces far greater than themselves.
Will the Hood name forge them into men the world will come to fear and revere, or be the very thing that erases their future?

Raven Hood is a sweeping medieval epic that follows a young man as he tries to live up to his legendary legacy. Having lost his brother and father far too young, and, in more recent years, his mother, Alessandro drew on a lifetime's understanding of grief, loyalty and the unbreakable weight of family. The bonds that hold his characters together, and the losses that shatter them, are drawn from his own life.
Alessandro lives in Sydney with his wife and their two children who resist bedtime at every turn, preferring to rumble their papà into submission. Ultimately, they are the reason he does everything.
Raven Hood is his first novel – the one he most needed to write.
